About a year before the Covid-19 pandemic, life backed me into a corner, (as it does to all of us from time to time in various ways). Chronic health issues forced me to not attend church for almost a year. So one Sunday morning, alone at home, I brought some paints and brushes to the kitchen table and decided to pray in color. Simply placing one color next to another, I began to wonder, Is color enough? Could quietly laying one color next to another help me feel more at peace? Can color help me find my way back to gratitude?
