David Michael Slonim's latest paintings are uplifting meditations on our common human quirks and foibles, painted with exuberant playfulness. Referencing influences ranging from Guston, Picasso, and Chagall to The Muppets and the guileless freedom of children’s drawings, shapes and textures collide with celebratory energy in David's “anthropomorphic abstracts."
